How do I use the self-checkout app?

Patrons of Zondervan Library can use the meeScan app to checkout any material from our circulating collections (e.g., books, games, DVDs, audiobooks).
In order to do so:
1. Go to the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Android) and search "Taylor Library Self-Checkout." The app will have the Taylor University logo.
2. Once you have downloaded the app, press the "Start" button in the middle of the screen. You will need to scan the barcode on the back of your ID with your phone's camera to log in.
3. On the checkout screen, press the "+" button at the top right corner. You will now be able to scan the barcode of the book to check it out to yourself.
a. Barcodes are most often found on the inside back cover. If it is not there, check the inside front cover, then a page or two inside from the front or back.
b. Barcodes will always have "Taylor University Library" at the top and will start with either "39227..." or "39320...".
4. Press the "Finish" button to complete the transaction. A receipt will be emailed to you to confirm the transaction and inform you of the due date.
