What happens if I have overdue Interlibrary Loan books?
Answer
If your Interlibrary Loan book is overdue, you will need to contact our Resource Sharing Office to request an extended due date. Send an email to the Resource Sharing Office requesting to renew your borrowed item.
If the Office is able to submit the request, you will receive an email when the lending library provides the approval or denial of the renewal request. If approved, you will also receive the renewed due date, which you can write on the book strap where the original due date is located.
Remember, you can renew eligible Interlibrary Loan books online through our ILLiad software up until the due date itself. On the due date and after, you must contact the Resource Sharing Office.
