How do I submit an Interlibrary Loan request?

Answer

Start the Interlibrary Loan process by making sure you have set up your ILLiad account here.

Then, find the book or article you would like to request through ILL in WorldCat or one of the databases. Click the "Request Item Access" button in WorldCat or a database and then ensure the citation information is correct. The last step is to submit the request.

Find more information about the ILL process at this Library web page.

Note: If there is no "Request Item Access" button, you can manually submit an Interlibrary Loan request through the ILLiad interface. Sign in to your account (as linked above). Look in the left menu for the New Request list of options. Choose from Article, Book Chapter, Book, Conference Paper, or Other material types.

Complete the form by filling in all of the fields from the citation or article or book you wish to access.

The last step is to Submit the request.
