How can I find books by a specific author?

Answer

The first place to go is WorldCat Research StationThen follow the steps below:

  • Search for your author's name by typing "first name last name" (use those quotation marks!).
    • My example is: "Sharon Daloz Parks"
  • In the left menu, go to the Held By Library section, and check the box next to Taylor University, Zondervan Library.
  • Under the Format section in the left menu, choose check the box next to Book.
  • Then, you can choose one last limit under the Author/Creator left menu option, if you want. Find your author and select the check box next to the correct name.

If you begin your research early enough, you can use Interlibrary Loan to borrow books not owned by the Zondervan Library from another library. Leave the Held By Library selection on Libraries Worldwide to utilize that option.
