How can I find a specific book?

Answer

Follow the steps below to find a specific book in the Zondervan Library:

  1. Go to WorldCat Research Station.
  2. Type the title of the book into the search box. Include quotation marks around the title if you know it is correct (e.g., "Brave New World").
  3. The initial search often defaults to searching Libraries Worldwide. To narrow the search to just the Zondervan Library, check the box in the left menu next to Taylor University, Zondervan Library
  4. The title you want should float to the top. If you also need to specify a specific format (eBook, Print Book, etc.), look under Format in the left menu and check the box next to the desired format (e.g., Print Book).
  5. Identify the item's availability by looking under the citation for a green check and the word Available, along with the call number. Copy down or snap a picture of the call number and collection (e.g., Main Collection F H982b). Ask at the Check Out Desk to find out where a particular collection is located within in the building.
